Production process
According to the production process, polypropylene geotextiles are mainly divided into spunbond method and short fiber needling method.
1)Spunbond
The polymer particles or powders are melted and then fed into an extruder, where they are spun into long, continuous strands through one or a series of spinnerets. Then rotate the spinneret head or control the air flow, change the speed of the conveyor belt, electrifying the current and other methods to make the filament form an irregular row, spread on the conveyor belt to form a fiber net. The bonding of the fiber net is to form continuous and uniform polypropylene geotextile by hot pressing or bonding with adhesives when the filament is not completely solidified. Can be used for reinforcement, separation, filtration and drainage and other projects.
2) Short fiber acupuncture
Staple fiber carding machine or cotton waste opening mechanism into cotton net, crossed again in the shop, or directly by the airflow into net mechanism into fiber mixed and disorderly arrangement of cotton net, in order to achieve a cloth of isotropic, and then through a large number of pricker consisting of a group or several groups of needle plate, needle mat, make the fiber entanglement with each other, squeezed together, forming polypropylene geotextile. This method is suitable for the production of thick geotextiles, which is characterized by high density, loose structure, thick, good water absorption and permeability, and large anti-deformation ability, especially suitable for filtration and drainage engineering.
Features:

7)High water permeability, under the pressure of soil and water, polypropylene geotextile can still maintain good water permeability.
